Saint Louis

It all started in high school.

Katy and Michael met each other at Francis Howell High School in 2008, where they worked on yearbook and newspaper together. Through the yearbook and photography, they became great friends.

Michael graduated in 2009 and went to Missouri State in Springfield while Katy graduated in 2010 and went to William Woods in Fulton. They kept in touch through college, but once Michael moved back to St. Louis in summer of 2013, they finally started dating.

In October of 2015, they got engaged just outside of the Jewel Box in Forest Park. Now they're excited to tie the knot at the Jewel Box in March!

The Bride

Kathleen

Katy is a Marketing Coordinator for Gateway Metro Federal Credit Union in St. Louis.

She graduated from William Woods University in Fulton, Mo., in 2014 with a degree in communications.

In college, she worked with horses, was a zipline instructor and a community advisor. She was also a cheerleader for the William Woods Owls and served in various leadership positions in Alpha Phi, her sorority. Currently in addition to her work for GMFCU, she volunteers for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri.

The Groom

Michael

Michael is a Lead Compliance Analyst for AT&T's Chief Compliance Office.

He graduated from Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo., in 2013 with a degree in computer information systems.

In addition to the technology field, he worked as a reporter and photographer at the Springfield News-Leader, the daily newspaper in Springfield. In college, he was a photographer and photo editor for The Standard and also worked with the university photo department. He currently photographs freelance for various newspapers but mostly the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
